Welcome to the 1st Portlethen Scouts website.
This web site belongs to the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for the 1st
Portlethen Scout Group and anyone interest in joining the group. If you have any ideas or anything you want to
put on your website please let your leaders know and we will try our best.
Our web site shows what is coming up in the near future and what
we have just been doing. We hope our mums and dads, brothers and sisters,
grandparents and all our friends can see how great it is to be part of the 1st
Portlethen Scout Group.
We are located in the
Beavers
Beavers are open to boys and girls aged from about 6 to 8
years old. The Portlethen Beaver colony meets on Monday evenings between 6:30pm
and 7:30pm at the Bourtree Hall.

Cubs
The Cubs are for boys and girls aged 8 to 10½ years old and
meet on Thursday evenings at the Bourtree Hall from 6:30pm to 8:15pm. There are
camps to go to where all sorts of activities are going on; archery, crate
building, campfires ... and night games!

Scouts
Scouts are open to boys and girls aged from about 10½ to 14½ years
old. This is the next step up from being a Cub but there are still some
familiar activities to enjoy including badge work, games and, of course,
camping but the Scouts take these activities to the next level.
The Scouts meet at Portlethen Academy Gym Hall on Wednesday evenings between
7:30pm and 9pm.
